Confirmation, by Godlitha, daughter of Matthew de Frascino (of the ash), widow, to Simon the Fleming (Flamensi) of London, of the grant made to him by Nicholas her late husband, of the land formerly belonging to the abouve-named Matthew, her father, in the parish of St Olave, Suthwerk, the which land lies between the land of london bridge onte W, and the land which belonged to richard ‘ruffus’ on te E, and extends in length between the royal highway on the N,. and the land of the same bridge: rendering therefor annually to the said Godlitha 2d. or a pound of cumin (cumini), and to the proctors of London Bridge 40d.; and the same Simon has given for the same grant and confirmation 11mk 10s and a gold 'Bisantiu') as gersuma, and 12d. to Thomas and Geoffrey, sons of the said Godlitha, and 3s. to her six daughters,Hawyse, Dyonisia, Matilda, Rose, Alice and Edith.
