Covenant of Albin fitz (filius) Alan that if William son and heir of Walter de Lisle [de insula] shall come to England and claim the land and houses formely belonging to the said Walter his father, he , the said Albin, will put no obstacle in the way of his free disposal of the same; saving only to himself and his wife the mark of silver which he gave to serlo the mercer, then proctor of London bridge, and the brethern and sisters therof, as ‘gersuma’ and his reasonable expenses for repairs of the houses aforesaid as assessed by the view of trustworthy men.
