grant in frank-marriage by geoffrey son of herebert, with avice his niece, to richard de execestria of the land which he held of the hospital of St giles without London in bridge street in the parish of st margaret, between the land held of the same hospital by Wigod the mercer and Richard Blund respectively (excepting that which Payn holds fronting along the street [in fronte secus vicum] for an annual rent of 17s); rendering thereof to the Hospital aforesaid 30s per annum. Provided that the said richard shall have no paver [sic??] to alienate the premises, and that during the life-time of geoffrey grass or of cecily his wife he shall hold the same by their grant and favour.
