Grant in frankalmoign by Matthew le Chandler to God and the fabric of London Bridge and the Bridge Wardens for the souls of Geoffrey his father and Agnes his mother and of Aldithe, Cristi' (Cristina), Agnes and Juliane his wives, and others, of an annual quitrent which he bought of Robert le Marscal, arrising from the tenement of William de Hakeneye in the parish of St Leonard Eastcheap; and for the greater security the said Matthew has delivered to Sir Robert de Wetheringsete, chaplain, and Gilbert Cros, wardens of the fabric of the Bridge, all the charters relating to the purchase of the said rent.
