Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Ricardus Testard dedi et concessi et hac presenti carta mea confirmavi, in puram et perpetuam elemosinam Deo et altari Beate Marie in ecclesia Westmonasterii ad luminaria invenienda eidem altari, duodecim denariatas redditus in villa Westmonasterii de terra quondam Roberti de Baignorio et Derewenne uxoris sue; quam terram ego Ricardus disrationavi in curia abbatis Westmonasterii per breve domini regis super eosdem Robertum et Derewennam, unde placitum fuit' inter nos in prefata curia. Habendas et tenendas et percipiendas ad duos anni terminos, scilicet: ad Pascha sex denarios, et ad Festum Sancti Michaelis sex denarios; illos scilicet duodecim denarios quos Odo aurifaber de Westmonasterio et heredes sui tenentur reddere mihi et heredibus meis singulis annis de predicta terra. Ego autem Ricardus et heredes mei warantizabimus procuratori prefati altaris qui pro tempore fuerit predictum redditum duodecim denariorum contra omnes homines et feminas. Ut autem hec concessio et donatio et carte mee confirmatio rata sit et stabilis permaneat earn sigilli mei appositione corroboravi.
