Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Adam de Westmonasterio, assensu et voluntate Matildis uxoris mee, dedi et concessi et hac presenti carta confirmavi, in puram et perpetuam elemosinam pro anima Scolastice matris predicte Matildis et animabus nostris et parentum nostrorum, Deo et altari Beate Dei Genitricis Marie in ecclesia Westmonasterii ad luminaria invenienda duodecim denariatas redditus in villa Westmonasterii quas Ricardus Testard solebat mihi reddere de terra que fuit quondam Roberti de Baignorio in eadem villa cuius homagium inde recepi. Habendas et tenendas eidem altari inperpetuum, et percipiendas per manus eiusdem Ricardi, vel illius quicumque illam terram tenuerit, ad eosdem terminos quibus ego Adam percipere solebam, videlicet: ad Pascha et ad Festum Sancti Michaelis. Et quia predictus redditus annuus predicte Matildi uxori mee fuit hereditarius, sub utroque nomine hanc cartam predicto altari ego Adam sigillo meo confirmare feci et corroborare.
