Description From: Robert de Keleseye To: the prior and convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory An annual payment of 50s, payable as specified for a tenement in Cheapside ('Westcheape'), London, which was formerly of John Pepercorn opposite Soper Lane to north, lying with the king's highway of Cheapside to south, the tenements of Katherine de Staunford and the abbess of the Minories ('ordinis Sancte Clare') outside Aldgate ('Alegate') to north, Katherine's tenement to east and the seld called 'Tanneresselde' to west. The grant is made in gratitude for the priory's remission of arrears of the payment up to 31 May 1304 and of £10 for the 4 years following. Given at London.
