presenti carta mea confirmaui pro salute anime mee et meorum et pro animabus omnium fidelium deo et ecclesie Sancte Marie de Messendene et canonicis ibidem deo seruientibus in liberam et puram et perpetuam elemosinam vnam soppam de questu meo cum omnibus pertinenciis suis in parmentria de Westchep quam tenui de feodo Hugonis de Neuille. Que uidelicet scoppa est in parochia Sa ncte Marie Magdalene inter terram Thome Nigelli et terram Stephani filii Godefridi. Ita tunc quod ego Andreas et heredes tenebimus in perpetuum prefatam soppam de prefatis canonicis. Reddendo inde eis annuatim vnam marcam argenti ad iiir terminos anni videlicet ad festum Sancti Michaelis xld. Et ad natale domini xld. Et ad Pascha xld. et ad festum Sancti Iohannis baptiste xld. due omni occasione. Et si predictus Andreas vel heredes sui ad predictos [terminos] predictis canonicis redditum predictum non persoluerint licebit eisdem canonicis predictam soppam per uadia usque ad plenam reddicionem distringere. Et sciendum est quod ego prefatus Andreas et heredes mei soppam prefatam cum omnibus pertinenciis suis warantizabimus predicte ecclesie Sancte Marie et predictis canonicis contra omnes homines et feminas et contra capitales dominos feodi de omnibus rebus et exaccionibus et seruiciis acquietabimus.
