I Alan called Abbot of the church of St. Peter of Certeseye and the whole Convent of the same place have granted and demised to Robert le Furmager of London and Maud his wife and their heirs our certain land with all its appurtenances which we had [in] London in the parish of St. Nicholas Olaf in Bredstrete between the land of Robert Guthake towards the south and the land of William Gray towards the north Which land contains in length nigh to the King's way 17 ells less [?] i inch of measured ells of the lord King Henry of England And in the middle of the land it contains 2of ells and i inch of the same ells extending from the land of Robert Guthake to the land of William Cray and there in the northern part between the shop of William Cray and the Kitchen of the same William it contains in breadth 7 3/4 ells and 2 inches And behind (retro) in the eastern head it contains in breadth next the land which was of David the Chaplain 17 1/4 ells and I inch extending from the land of the said William Cray to the land which was of Richard Espors' and in depth it contains 19f ells, 2 inches extending from the King's street in the west to the land which was of the said David the Chaplain towards the east . . . . . . .
