Date: Gilbert's grant to the Lady Altar was prob. made c. 1189, when the contingent from England was preparing to embark on the Third Crusade. The attestations to Prior Robert's grant suggest a date about the middle of King John's reign.
Note: Despite the cavalier treatment of this charter, it had not been entered into any cartulary. |
