A. 1932. Grant by Richard, the prior, and the convent of Holy
Trinity, London, to Geoffrey de Brokesheved, for 100*., of land with
buildings thereon in the parish St. Mary Abbecherch, by land of Amice
daughter of William, in Kandelwrichtestrate, paying 54s. yearly. The
buildings are estimated at 25 marcs, find if Geoffrey give up the fee he
must leave buildings of that value thereon. "Witnesses : Joce [iuvene] the Younger,
alderman, Geoffrey de Essex, and others (named).

[1222-48] Grant by Richard prior and convent to Geoffrey Brokeshevede (de Brokesheved) of land with houses; abutments, the land of Amice daughter of William on the east and the land of Henry the Girdler (Corigiarius) on the west in Candelwykstrete, extending from the king's street to the cemetery of St. Lawrence the Martyr; rent 54s. p.a.
