[Middx.] A. 1890. Confirmation by Peter son of Richard de Hispannia, for
10 marcs of silver, of the grant by dementia his mother, in her widowhood,
to the canons of Holy Trinity, London, of the yearly rent of 20*. 2d. that
Richard his father assigned to her in dower, issuing from the stone house,
cellar and messuage that Edmund Mercer formerly held in the parish of
St. Benedict Schorhog, until the said Richard or his heirs should have
paid to Clementia 50 marcs of silver or 5 marcs of gold wherewith he had
formerly dowered her ; releasing all his right in the said rent to the canons,
who shall pay him Id. yearly and 2d. on the death of his mother.
