A. 1660. Deed of sale by Clemencia, daughter of Robert Blund, late
wife of Richard de Hispannia,cto Richard, the prior, and the canons of Holy
Trinity, London, for 6 marcs of silver, of 20s. rent which the said Richard
assigned to her as dower, issuing from a stone house that Edmund Mercer
formerly held in the parish of St. Benedict Schorhog, to be held by her till
her husband's heirs should satisfy her the 50 marcs of silver or 5 marcs of
gold wherewith he dowered her at the monastery door, and a rent of 2d.
from the same source ; they paying Id. yearly therefor. Witnesses :
William son of Benedict, alderman, Philip de Wintonia, Ralph Blund, and
