A. 1515. Grant by Robert de Aldenham, 'bukillarius,' of London,
[Herti.] to Adam de Stratone, clerk, of the dwelling house within Aldredesgate, in
the parish of St. Agnes, London, which he had by gift of Peter Claunag,
baker, situate as specified : paying him yearly one rose, to the prior and
canons of St. Bartholomew one marc, to the nuns of Ankerwik 8s., to the
nuns of Clerkenwell 7s,, to the monks of St. Albans 10s. 8d., and to the monks of St. Saviour's of Bermondsey I2d. In exchange for this dwelling the said Adam has given him 26 acres of heath in his manor of Shenlee.

London, William de Dunolm and Walter Hervy, then bailiffs of London,
John de Blakethorne, alderman of the said ward, and others (named).
