224 Grant by Simon de Papenham (s), mason, to Thomas de Mymmes, chandler of Cornhull, of an ann. rent of one mark silver from a tenement which Thomas received from Roger de Clare and which is now held by the said Simon. This tenement is between a tenement of Simon in the N., that of John le Taverner in the S. and W. and ext. along the highroad in the E. The rent of one mark silver may also be paid from another tenement of the same Simon, formerly of Richard de Westsmethefeld adjoining the first mentioned tenement. Thomas gave Simon a tenement [not further described]. Rent: one rose. Wit.
