Grant by Joceus the weigher (Ponderator; le Balauncer) to Geoffrey Verherthe of all his land in the parish of St Magnus the Martyr in Bridge Street, between the land formerly belonging to Nicholas Turg’; which is of the fee of St giles, towards the N and the land which belonged to Adam Herlesheued and the land of Robert Cov towards the S; and extending from the kings’ highway towards the W as far as the land of Ralph Baggard towarwds the E; for the annual render of a pound of cummin or twopence, with reservation of the services due the chief lords of the fee. to wit 2s 6d per annum to the monks of westminster and 5s to Robert Holebuc and his assigns. ‘gersuma; ten pounds.
